5 year World Bank funded project that came to an end on 29th February 2016. The Kenya Private Sector Alliance successfully implemented the Training and Internship component which aimed at supporting Government’s effort to improve youth employability through provision of Training and Internship. Specifically, the project aimed at ensuring that at least 50% of youth completing the internship programme secure employment 6 months post internship completion.
This is a peace campaign project meant to foster peaceful coexistence and peace for economic growth and prosperity for the country. The campaign was spearheaded by the KEPSA and the steering team was made up of business leaders, civil society, religious leaders, NCIC, Vision 2030 and the media. It drew lessons from Kenyans-for-Kenya initiative and business involvement in the 2008 national accord negotiation.
Sustainable Inclusive Business Kenya is established under the KEPSA Foundation through a fruitful partnership between MVO Nederland and KEPSA and is supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
Sustainable Inclusive Business Africa supports businesses to become Sustainable and Inclusive and helps them improve their practice by encouraging them to take responsibility for their full business Impact.
